Here’s a blast from the past: me performing my poem Someone at the Dan O’Connell Hotel, Melbourne, on 29 September 2012. This was AFL Grand Final day, hence the balloons and ‘Go Swans’ signs. The clicking sounds in the background are people playing pool in the next room.
The city I mention in the poem is Perth. Australian poet ACR also gets a mention.
I’m not sure what I was thinking with that haircut.
